NOSLER INTRODUCES ADDITION TO ACCUBOND® LINEUP

Bend, OR-2010- Nosler, Inc. the world’s leading manufacturer of the finest grade hunting bullets has announced a new 6.8mm 100-grain AccuBond®. Designed to provide users of the AR platform, 6.8 mm Remington SPC with a first-class bullet that is ideal for a wide range of large and small game while delivering outstanding accuracy. With the increased popularity and hunting applications of this cartridge, Nosler felt it was important to manufacture a hunting bullet with precise accuracy and deadly terminal performance.

As with all of Nosler’s AccuBond® bullets, the new addition delivers expansion and penetration with outstanding weight retention at all normal hunting velocities and ranges. The tapered, highly concentric bullet jacket is constructed from gilding metal that produces minimal fouling compared to most bonded core bullets that use pure copper jackets.

All Nosler AccuBond® bullets feature distinctive white polymer tips that prevent deformation in the magazine, boost aerodynamic efficiency, and initiate expansion. This bullet also features a precisely formed boat tail that serves to reduce drag and provide a more efficient flight profile for higher retained energy at long range.

Nosler AccuBond® Hunting bullets are sold in black and gold boxes of 50 at gun and sporting goods dealers worldwide; get the AccuBond advantage.

Nosler’s Combined Technology® Ballistic Silvertip®

Bend, Oregon—Nosler, Inc. is pleased to introduce three new bullets available for the Combined Technology® Ballistic Silvertip® bullet. As the world’s leading manufacturer of the finest quality hunting bullets, Nosler has added the .204-32gr, 8mm-180gr and the 45-70 Gov’t 300gr Ballistic Silvertip® to compliment the highly effective line of large, medium and small game hunting bullets.

The Ballistic Silvertip® bullets are exclusively offered in component form and in Winchester Supreme® Ammunition. The exterior Lubalox® coating applied to all Combined Technology® Ballistic Silvertip® bullets is long proven to reduce fouling and friction between bullet and bore, providing longer barrel life, easier cleaning and enhanced accuracy.

Nosler’s ballistically engineered polymer tip resists deformation in the magazine during firing and initiates expansion upon impact even at the lowest velocities (1600 fps.) The fully tapered jacket and special lead alloy core control expansion and provide optimum weight retention at practical ranges and velocities. This polymer tip, combined with Nosler’s Solid Base® boat tail design maximizes ballistic coefficient and extended-range consistency.

NOSLER ANNOUNCES FOUR NEW E-TIP® OFFERINGS

Bend, Oregon—New for 2010, E-Tip®, Nosler’s high quality and consistent performing lead-free bullet has expanded by four additional offerings; .25 caliber-100gr, 7mm-140gr, .30 caliber 168 gr and an 8mm-180gr bullet giving reliable lead-free hunting even more versatility. Nosler’s patent pending E-Tip® bullet is built on a highly concentric structure of monolithic gilding metal, providing unsurpassed penetration and weight retention.

E-Tip not only shares in common with AccuBond® and Ballistic Tip® the polymer tip that prevents deformation in the magazine, boosts aerodynamic efficiency, and initiates expansion but is also constructed with the same ogive design for superior flight characteristics. Nosler’s exclusive E² Cavity™ (Energy Expansion Cavity™) allows for immediate and uniform expansion yet retains 95%+ weight for greater penetration.

Ideal for big game hunting or recreational shooting, Nosler’s E-Tip is a step above today’s “pure copper” bullets by providing less fouling while exhibiting superior accuracy, and consistent performance over traditional pure copper designs.

“E-Tip really, truly is the accumulation of all our knowledge.”–Bob Nosler, President/CEO of Nosler, Inc.
