Designed with the same quality and craftsmanship as its predecessors, the Model 48 Trophy Grade Rifle (TGR) will quickly become one of the finest values in the shooting industry. The new TGR features the proven Nosler Model 48 action, a free floating 24” chrome-moly barrel and a crisp, 3 lb. Rifle Basix™ trigger. In the tradition of the award- winning Model 48, the TGR is built for hunting in wet weather. All exterior metal surfaces are protected by a special application of CERAKOTE™, while the critical interior working parts are protected by a smooth, corrosion-resistant coating of Micro Slick™. To ensure rugged reliability, the whole package is custom aluminum bedded in a Bell and Carlson™ composite stock.
"I selected a Nosler Model 48 Trophy Grade Rifle in .300 WSM and NoslerCustom® Ammunition for my first African safari. With the hunt nearing the end, my 54" kudu stood broadside at a steep downhill angle at 265 yds. Knowing the bullet drop, wind speed and direction, and with the rifle supported, there was no hesitation or second-guessing. I knew what to expect from my equipment. The 180-gr. AccuBond penetrated through both shoulders and the animal traveled less than 20 yds. before succumbing. Perfect!"

Each Trophy Grade™ rifle has been accuracy-tested with NoslerCustom® ammunition and is guaranteed to deliver M.O.A. 3-shot group accuracy.
The NoslerCustom® Model 48 is built on the same action as our Custom rifles-but in a round-top version that accepts standard scope mounting bases**. Nosler’s proprietary push-feed action features a 2-position safety and an adjustable trigger set to a crisp, 3 lb. let-off. The Model 48 offers exceptional precision and reliable performance. The action features a classic one-piece bottom metal and trigger guard. To achieve the highest level of accuracy, the Model 48 integrates the unique MicroSlick™ Coating on interior metal surfaces, including inside the bolt body, on the firing pin, and firing pin spring for maximum corrosion and wear-resistance, even with extensive dry firing.
All metal surfaces, internal and external, have a thin coating to keep your rifle protected during any hunting situation. External surfaces are coated with Cerakote™, a ceramic-based coating that protects the firearm from even the harshest hunting conditions without increasing weight or adversely affecting performance. Internal surfaces are coated with Micro Slick™, a dry-film lubricant that is commonly used on internal engine parts to reduce friction and wear.
Designed by hunters, the Bell and Carlson stock provides a solid platform for the Model 48 barreled action. The stock is manufactured using a hand lay-up process with a variety of durable composite materials to support an internal aluminum chasis. From blazing heat to frigid cold --the ultralight stock stands up to the harshest conditions without hesitation. Stock includes a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad and QD sling swivel studs.
