2nds or Cosmetic Blemished: All Nosler products are hand inspected prior to packaging. Every bullet and every piece of brass is searched for imperfections to ensure that every piece meets Noslers strict quality standards. Products with physical imperfections and deformities are scrapped, while products with only cosmetic blemishes are labeled as 2nds.

*Due to the diverse nature of our ammunition and bullet lines, and the specific points in the manufacturing process where Factory Seconds are identified, some batches of Factory Seconds bullets may feature bands/cannelures. Each bag will contain bullets with uniform specifications, either all with or all without bands/cannelures. However, we cannot guarantee that bullets across multiple bags, or bags ordered at different times throughout the year, will consistently have or lack bands/cannelures.
