Additionally, the successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Nosler Inc is a federally regulated company that requires employees to have a clean background check and the ability to pass a drug screen including THC.

Summary

The Ammunition Manufacturing Technician plays a key role in producing Nosler’s most famous product line; ammunition. This position prepares, operates and observes the ammunition loading machine and then inspects, labels and then packages the finished product. Occasional setup, repair, and light maintenance of machinery is required. This position also assists with regular inventory control processes.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

  • Strong basic math skills including; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

  • Ability read, write (clearly and legibly), speak and understand English

  • Excellent eyesight, with or without correction, for close inspection work

  • Familiarity of basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches and hammers) and mechanical concepts

  • Ability to physically endure repetitive motion for long periods of time

  • Ability to repeatedly, for up to 8-10 hours per day, stand on a hard surface, lift, pull, stoop, bend, climb and reach

  • Ability to move or maneuver up to 75lbs on a regular basis and occasionally lift up to 45lbs

  • Ability to practice and adhere to all workplace safety rules and precautions

  • Ability to work in a team orientated, quality focused and performance driven environment

  • Ability to change and adapt to various situations and be able to change work focus at any time

  • Possess an exceptional attention to detail and the ability to complete daily work is required in a face paced, goal driven environment

  • Ability to pass and maintain a clean drug and criminal background screening
