Born Ballistic is the next saga in the epic tale of one of the American West's great industrial and hunting families. Struggling to hold fast to the dream sketched on a napkin and forged on the factory floor, Bob Nosler's vision helped transform an industry.
You know Bob Nosler by the bullets with his name on them, by the accurate rifles built in Bend, Oregon. With one foot in the boardroom and one in the forest, this is the story of a man, armed with a bolt-action rifle and a relentless drive to succeed.
Bob Nosler grew up in a Bend, Oregon, household where business and family were bound together in hunting, shooting and service to the community. He attended the University of Oregon, was drafted for the Vietnam war and served in the submarine service in the United States Navy before his career in the family business.
At Nosler, he served as gunner, production manager, vice president, president and CEO in succession. During his career, Nosler bullets became the standard of the industry by which all other bullets are judged. Today, Nosler products are used by sportsmen around the world.
Serving the cause of freedom, Bob Nosler is a longtime member of the board of directors of the National Rifle Association
