As the E-Commerce Site Coordinator you’ll own the day-to-day management of our online store, including processing and fulfilling online orders, fielding customer service inquires, building out backend site promotions and maintaining accurate product content and overall store functionality. The right person for the job is solutions-oriented, technologically savvy, organized and passionate about providing a superior user experience.
Online Store Maintenance/ Functionality – 50%
• Own day-to-day publication and quality control across multiple websites for images, product descriptions, pricing, inventory management and other on-page assets. • Build online coupons and promotional discounts to support e-Commerce marketing campaigns • Ensure back-end functionality of all e-commerce promotional campaigns i.e. holiday sales, BOGOS, coupon codes etc. • Build e-commerce applications, maintaining existing code and actively assist in improving the usability and functionality of highly customized Magento systems. • Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document, deploy and provide ongoing support for all web applications. • Work with Marketing team to support digital marketing efforts to merchandise website and drive e-Commerce revenue • Participate in e-Commerce planning meetings with Marketing team for campaign building around sales initiatives
Customer Service/ Order Fulfillment – 50%
• Process all e-Commerce orders to ensure customers receive their products in a timely fashion. • Provide superior customer service via phone and email regarding order adjustments, shipments and general e-Commerce customer service inquiries. • Follow up on shipments to inform customers of product status and to update order processing system with correct order status. • Follow-up with customers whose shipments require supplemental documentation in order to process. • Coordinate product returns and exchanges
• 2+ years Web/ eCommerce experience • Intermediate eCommerce web design/ development skills preferred • Understanding of content management/ sales technologies platforms, systems and apps including Magento and Salesforce preferred • Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. • Proven project management skills • Superior customer service skills • E-Commerce customer service experience a plus • Strong organizational skills • Team player with a positive attitude, and able to work seamlessly with partners across various departments including Shipping, Sales, Marketing and IT. • Experience and interest in hunting, firearms, and the outdoor industry is preferred, but not required.
This position as an E-Commerce Coordinator begins as an “Introductory Trainee” for 60 consecutive days during which time Supervisory staff will evaluate whether the employee is suited for the position. If the employee is determined to be suitable for the job, status will then advance to “Regular Employee” on the first of the month following the 60 day introductory period and Company benefits will commence.
Current work hours are Mon.-Fri. 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Work hours and schedule are subject to change and overtime as needed does apply. Additionally, the successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
