Nosler is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our Engineering Team. Additionally, the successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Nosler Inc is a federally regulated company that requires employees to have a clean background check and the ability to pass a drug screen including THC.

This position begins as an “Introductory Trainee” for 60 consecutive days during which time the supervisory team will evaluate whether the employee is suited for the position. If the employee is determined to be suitable for the job, status will then advance to "Regular Employee" on the first of the month following the 60-day introductory period and Company benefits will commence. Additionally, the successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Starting wage is D.O.E.

SUMMARY

This position supports and maintains servers & network infrastructure, both internal and external. Supports and maintains internal user’s workstation & mobile devices, monitors server and network performance and health and ensures system availability and performance. Additionally, this position is responsible for evaluating network performance including availability, utilization and throughput. The IT Support Specialist will need to stay abreast of industry developments, opportunities, and risks for hardware, web, and mobile system/devices through educational opportunities, professional publications and participating in professional organizations. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree or better, in Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in IT Support Role supporting a Windows Server/Client environment required
  • Windows Server Administration (2 years minimum)
  • SQL Server Administration (2 years minimum)
  • Virtual Server Administration
  • VPN tunneling
  • Networking
  • Proficiency in Scripting and Automation
  • Firewall/Router
  • Backup Software & Strategies
  • Familiarity with Epicor and SSRS software is preferred
  • Strong trouble shooting skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated with strong prioritization abilities
  • Clear sense of teamwork
  • Ability to adapt communication style for varying audiences to explain needs and means with clarity and understanding
  • Ability to pass and maintain a clean drug and criminal background screening
