Nosler is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Engineering Team. Additionally, the successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Nosler Inc is a federally regulated company that requires employees to have a clean background check and the ability to pass a drug screen including THC.


This position is on a team of engineers and engineering technicians, who together, identify and execute projects related to production and process improvements in the manufacturing environment. This position designs new products, modifies existing designs, improves production techniques, and develops new and improved procedures.

  • Resolves problems using solutions that involve new techniques, technologies, or concepts
  • Provides engineering support to production and maintenance teams as needed
  • Confers with management, production, and maintenance to determine feasibility for potential improvement projects
  • Maintains a working knowledge of new technologies which may improve the manufacturing environment and develops recommendations accordingly
  • Be responsible for maintaining appropriate engineering records
  • Takes ownership of assigned projects
  • Provides guidance to maintenance and production personnel when implementing changes to their processes and procedure.
  • Assists with fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications
  • Assists with troubleshooting maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment
  • Evaluates equipment installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering field required
  • Seven + years related experience in a manufacturing environment and use of lean manufacturing methodologies
  • Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where little standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Fluent in Autodesk Inventor or equivalent design software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
  • Able to regularly stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Able to climb ladders, retrieve materials from storage, etc.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to pass and maintain a clean drug and criminal background screening

Bend, Monday – Friday, standard day shift
