The Model 48 Nosler Custom Handgun™ is the ultimate precision bolt-action handgun. Built on a one-piece, billet aluminum stock, the mid-grip stock provides a completely rigid platform for the bedded action and free-floated barrel. Designed from the ground up by the engineers at Nosler with input from some of the most successful handgun hunters alive today, the M48 NCH™ is the answer to handgun hunters’ dreams. Each NCH™ is machined and built from US made parts by the accomplished gunsmiths at the Nosler Rifle division in Bend, Oregon.

Built on the rugged Nosler Model 48 short action, the NCH™ shares all of the same features that have made the Model 48 series of rifles a continued success. The NCH™ is available in a variety of short action calibers well-suited to varminting, silhouette shooting, and hunting big game. Options and customizations allow the owner to make their NCH™ unique to their own personal taste and style. When ordering the NCH™, customers have a choice of barrel length, Cerakote® colors, optional muzzle brake, fluted or non-fluted barrel, as well as caliber.

Stock: The stock of the M48 NCH™ is precision CNC machined from a single billet of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. The one-piece design of the aluminum mid-grip stock provides a completely rigid platform for the bedded action and free-floated barrel.

Finish: The M48 NCH™ is entirely coated in NIC Industries Cerakote® finish. A variety of standard colors are available, or pick from any Cerakote® color to personalize your Nosler Custom Handgun. The barreled action and stock are coated separately, allowing for 2 different color choices and a wide variety of color combinations.

Action: The M48 NCH™ is a single-shot, fed from a solid-bottom receiver.

Brake: The Harrell's Precision Tactical 4-Port brake is available as an addition.

Grip: The NCH™ is designed to accept standard AR-15 grips allowing the owner to choose from a wide variety of aftermarket grips to customize the look and feel of the handgun to their liking. Each NCH™ ships standard with a black Hogue® OverMolded® rubber grip with finger grooves.

Barrel: The M48 NCH™ features a fully free-floated Shilen, 416R stainless steel heavy contour barrel that has been threaded at the muzzle, and supplied with a thread protector. Standard barrel length is 15" with shorter or longer lengths between 12"-18" available upon request. Barrel fluting is also available for an additional charge.

Size: The M48 NCH™ has an overall length of 21” with a 15” fluted barrel, and weighs 5.4 lbs without scope or mounts. Longer barrels, no fluting, and muzzle brakes will add/subtract to/from these figures.
