Physical Plant Electrician
Nosler is looking for experienced Physical Plant Electricians to join our Manufacturing Technical Services team. We are looking for someone who is able to diagnose and remedy electrical problems, troubleshoot 3-phase power, MSS’s, motors, relay logic and PLC controls.
Additionally, the successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Nosler Inc is a federally regulated company that requires employees to have a clean background check and the ability to pass a drug screen including THC.
The Physical Plant Electrician works on a full range of electrical and electronic circuits that require a broad range of knowledge of applied electrical practices and theory of operation of electrical and electronic equipment and controls and their interface to mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Will install, troubleshoot, maintains and repairs electronic controls that require advanced technical knowledge including: switches, photo sensors, proximity sensors, central and subsidiary control panels on custom machines, machine tools, welding equipment, heaters, washers, conveyors, vision systems and other process equipment. Will be able to diagnose and remedy electrical problems on all electrical apparatus including communications equipment, power circuit, motors, air compressors and PLC controlled equipment on Ethernet networks. Able to correlate electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems of automated machine tools to provide uniform efficient operation for speed and feed, using testing equipment as necessary. Able to work from oral and written instructions, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings and code books. Able to work off ladders, hydraulic lifts and catwalks. Trouble shoot 3-phase power, MSS’s, motors, relay logic and PLC controls. Works on various equipment and motors powered by 12, 24, 48VDC and 120, 208, 480VAC. Support the company’s quality improvement efforts by adhering to ISO standards and participating in continuous improvement activities.
- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- LME, J or PJ electrical license with five to ten years of experience in the electrical field Trained in accordance with NEC, NFPA, and limited training or experience with UL
- The ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane, and solid geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, differential calculus, and proportions to practical situations

Hourly, $30.00 - $40.00, Depending on Qualifications
Monday – Friday, standard day shift
