The Waste Water Technician position is responsible for operating and maintaining all machines and equipment used in the collection, treatment and discharge of process waste water. In addition, the person filling this position will collect, maintain and report on all related data, to both internal and to external officials.


  • Minimum of a two-year certificate from a college or technical school or equivalent experience in a ‘hands on’ waste water processing environment

  • Ability to work and communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to regularly sit, talk, hear and enter data using a keyboard and mouse

  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel

  • Ability to frequently stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and smell

  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Ability to pass and maintain a clean drug and criminal background screening
