Madras, OR – June, 2023 – Congratulations to Nosler Sponsored Shooter James Rowe and teammate David McNeil on their 4th place finish at the Leupold Relentless Rifleman NRL Hunter match. The duo, shooting Nosler’s 6.5mm 140gr RDF bullets, claimed a total score of 246, establishing a remarkable 61-point lead over the 5th place team.
The highly anticipated Leupold Relentless Rifleman match took place June 3rd-4th in Madras, OR, a mere 30 miles from Nosler's headquarters in Bend. The event showcased a field-style competition set in the captivating high desert terrain of central Oregon. The course of fire successfully recreated the challenges of western big game hunting, putting participants' skills and equipment to the test.
“The course demanded shooters to be prepared for any situation and effectively replicated the time-sensitive scenarios that hunters frequently encounter in the field. In my personal view, there is no superior method to enhance hunting and shooting abilities than engaging in competitions of this nature. Once again, I was truly impressed by the performance of our shooters,” expressed Madi Woodward, Nosler's Brand Marketing Manager. Woodward was present on-site alongside the Nosler team, providing support, and distributing lunches and cold beverages to the shooters between stages.
