Springs, Kansas– July, 2023 – Congratulations to Nosler Sponsored Shooter Jake Millard for his performance at the Hodgdon Punisher Positional. This match is regarded as one of the best precision rifle series matches all year, located at the Severance Training Center in Conway Springs, Kansas.
Designed by Michael Beemer, the MD for Southwind Shootout, and Derek Love, the Owner of STC Severance Training Center, the match ensured that each stage left no room for luck or chance but instead rewarded skill, precision, and consistency. With 20 well-thought-out and refined stages, participants faced challenging scenarios that put their marksmanship abilities to the ultimate test.
The course of fire required around 200 rounds and featured targets ranging from 350 to 940 yards, with the majority situated inside the 800-yard range. To add to the challenge, all targets beyond 700 yards had flashers, and the barricades were rock-solid, demanding focus and precision from all competitors.
Jake Millard demonstrated talent and dedication throughout the entire match, earning 5th place finish with a score of 181 among a field of skilled and experienced shooters.
