Wilbur, WA – May, 2023 – Congratulations to Nosler shooters Nick Gadarzi, James Rowe, and Shannon Walker for their outstanding performances at the recent Karstetter Memorial Field Match. In the Open Team Division, sponsored shooter Nick Gadarzi and his partner Ight Pozo claimed second place with a remarkable total of 609 points, falling just six points short of first place. Similarly, sponsored shooter James Rowe and his teammate David McNeil secured the fifth position in the Open Team Division with a score of 557 match points. Notably, Shannon Walker, Nosler’s Bullet Production Manager, participated in this match for the first time and achieved an impressive fifth place in the Individual Division.

The Karstetter Memorial Field Match, which made its debut in 2013, has gained tremendous popularity among shooters across the northwest. Each year, the match presents a challenging course of fire skillfully designed by Clint Sharp, complemented by beautiful landscapes and strategically placed cross-canyon targets. While this event is typically accompanied by rainy and muddy conditions, this year's unexpectedly clear weather with blue skies prevailed. However, the wind posed a formidable challenge, with gusts reaching up to 25 mph, pushing even the most skilled shooters to their limits.

The Karstetter Memorial Match serves as a poignant tribute to Matt Karstetter, a native of Washington, Marine Corps veteran, and passionate shooter. Tragically, Matt lost his life in a work-related accident in 2012 after retiring from the Corps and embarking on a career with the Bonneville Power Administration. This annual match helps raise funds for the college education of Matt's two children.

Gadarzi, Rowe, and Walker all utilized Nosler RDF bullets in their performances. For more information about the RDF line of match bullets, visit Nosler.com.
